Hi, I'm Beth Wilkinson.

10 years ago, I was newly self-employed hairdresser renting a chair in a salon. I was busy, but I left after 1 year. Barely any clients followed me, my business was on a downward spiral.

I had to go back to part-time employment whilst I desperately tried to rebuild my business, I felt like a failure, and I was so embarrassed.

I drove all over the North East for any client that would book me. If it was a dry cut for £10, or a full head of highlights for £70, I was there. I worked 6 days a week, but I was still broke and exhausted.

My life changed, fast. Weave bookings exploded, and within 2 years I'd saved £25K and opened my first salon aged 23.
